Our business sectors - the ports and warehouses of thyssenkrupp Steel Logistics GmbH

With a total of approximately 28 million metric tons of bulk and general cargo, our ports in Schwelgern and Walsum-Süd, the slab storage yards, and the central coil warehouse in Beeckerwerth are part of an integrated transport chain, particularly for the supply of raw materials and the shipment of steel by thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG.

Customers and partners benefit from our prime location at Europe’s largest inland port:

With the ports of Walsum-Süd, where general cargo is handled, and Schwelgern, where raw materials are delivered, as well as the connected storage facilities, we provide tried-and-true and state-of-the-art hubs along the strategically important Rhine waterway for your transshipment and warehousing logistics.

The logistics hub in Duisburg connects, in particular, ship, rail, and truck transport – in some cases trimodally – to support sustainable transportation development.
